World Bicycle Relief partners with local microfinance institutions in Africa to help entrepreneurs and family businesses buy Buffalo Bicycles.

Microfinance loan periods range from six to eighteen months and are repaid with increased profits earned from the added productivity that comes with a reliable vehicle. Our bikes are commonly used to transport milk and vegetables to market and farm supplies to rural villages.

On the old bicycle, I couldn’t carry 40 liters of milk. On this bicycle, 40 liters is like it isn’t there.
